Our Story
Rory is originally from London, UK. After graduating with a BA(Hons) degree from Loughborough University, Rory set out on a career as a British Army Officer. Having commissioned from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, he served in a variety of roles and environments, utilizing his keen sense of service and adventure.
Following his military service, Rory served as a Police Officer in Ontario – dedicating his energies to ‘community policing’, in turn founding various successful outreach initiatives, which sought to protect and empower the most vulnerable in the community – notably – the ‘Check-a-Vet’ Initiative, which enhanced engagement with the elderly community.
With his passion to serve the most vulnerable in our communities, along with an extensive portfolio of charity fundraising (benefactors including but not limited to Alzheimer’s Society, Cancer Research and the Army Benevolent Fund), Rory was drawn to create Home Cove Caregivers Ltd, where making a meaningful and positive difference in the lives of others is the guiding force.
As the Owner / CEO of Home Cove Caregivers, Rory brings with him a real passion for serving others.
Rory and Jen (who was raised in Victoria and is a family physician here) have been married since 2010 and together they have two sons, Lochlan and Colton.
